A great article on the SMH photography blog has captured a bit of attention and is raising awareness of how easily big companies try to strip photographers of their copyright.
Its worth a read, and I recommend all photographers (amateur or professional) avoid submitting images to any of these type of competitions, and for that matter be very careful when you submit images to a newspaper…. “say bye bye photo, it was nice knowing you” – cause it aint yours any more!
