All the sailors had a break from the regatta competition today and participated in some island activities while others had the chance to enjoy some of hamilton islands fine food & wines at many of the various restaurants.

Racing continued today in the 2008 Audi Hamilton Island Race week with the events longest and most grueling race, the Club Marine Classic Hayman Island Race.  The 59 nautical mile race saw a few dramas on the high seas with a couple of crew members being injured. The injuries were said to be not serious so thankfully they are all doing reasonably well.

After 3 days sailing, tomorrow is a well deserved lay day for the sailors who will enjoy a couple of cold frosties tonight with Joe Camilleri as the entertainment highlight.  The competition however will continue tomorrow on land with each boat nominating their best driver to participate in the Audi Drivers Challenge.
